Seattle Freelance Soloists (Teo Benson, Sachi Patricia Hirakouji, Dylan Rieck, and Miodrag Veselinovic) will be giving a concert in Oak Harbor on Saturday night, May 1, at the new OHHS auditorium. The program will be quite different than the one they gave on January 31st because two additional groups will be joining the program. Besides classical performances by the same musicians we heard on January 31, there will be a jazz/blues trio and an indie folk/rock band called The Crying Shame which performs frequently at the Tractor Tavern in Seattle. Several musicians will play in more than one of the featured groups. It should be quite an evening of music with a broad appeal to all ages! Read the Seattle Times review of The Crying Shame.
